The great majority were taken off the eastern sector of the Antarctic Continent and at Kerguelen; many were collected from Heard Island and Macquarie Island, but a few were obtained from off South-Western Australia and Eastern Tasmania. The total number of species is 143, of which eight are new. There are 103 genera represented."
