From Mid November 2010 onwards, we encourage users and editors of the World Porifera Database to add news items on sponge research of interest to our community. For example, you can announce the appearance of a new paper or a forthcoming paper. Nice pictures of interesting new findings. Scheduled new projects or expeditions. Seeking cooperation or help. Etc. etc. Apart from sponges and general interest there is no limit to the subjects we accept. Within reason, you can determine how long we should carry the news item and will keep also 'old news' for some time.
