Diagnosis High conical test with convex base, symmetrical embryonic apparatus at the apex of the test, hemispherical proloculus partially enveloped by slightly larger ellipsoidal deuteroconch, later with uniserial discoidal chambers in which the marginal zone has short radial vertical exoskeletal beams and horizontal rafters, an intermediate radial zone of major beams is weakly developed, and the broad central zone is filled with a reticular mesh of septulae and intervening polygonal cavities.
