Diagnosis Test lenticular, planispirally enrolled, biinvolute and biumbonate, with prominent umbonal pillars, numerous chambers in about four and a half whorls, sutures thickened, radial, curved back at the periphery, septa secondarily doubled, with septal flap and intraseptal canal, periphery acute; wall calcareous, lamellar, perforate, umbonal pustules at the surface reflect the position of internal pillars, sutures elevated; aperture an arched interiomarginal equatorial slit that may extend slightly more on one side than the other.
