Diagnosis Test small, up to 0.39 mm in length, unilocular, spherical, ovoid, or subcylindrical; wall calcareous, porcelaneous, white, and opaque, ultrastructure shows inner veneer of twodimensional randomly arranged calcite crystals, an intermediate layer with faint radial alignment and an outer layer of threedimensional randomly arranged crystals, surface of test smooth, pitted, or transversely wrinkled; aperture rounded, subterminal and excentric, flush to slightly produced.
