Diagnosis Test free, subcylindrical; wall with a distinct proteinaceous inner layer, and an outer layer of coarse particles including tests of other foraminifers, agglutinated in a finer ground mass; aperture terminal, rounded, bordered by a thickened extension of the organic lining.
