Diagnosis Test lenticular, biconvex, trochospiral, about three whorls visible on the spiral side, chambers broad and low, crescentic, sutures strongly oblique, limbate, and curving into the peripheral keel, only the seven to eight subtriangular chambers of the final whorl visible on the umbilical side, sutures gently curved, slightly depressed, and nearly radial around the clear imperforate umbilical boss, interior of chambers subdivided by a plate that extends diagonally from the septal foramen toward the peripheral apertural notch but does not connect to the opposite wall to form a chamberlet, periphery with imperforate carina, peripheral outline slightly lobulate; wall calcareous, optically radial, perforate, septa and keel imperforate; aperture interiomarginal, extending from the umbilical boss nearly to the peripheral keel, with a small notch parallel to the plane of coiling.
