The foraminifera described and figured in this paper were collected from the Changhsing formation in Western Guizhou. They were found together with Palaeofusulina and Brachiopods in calcareous siltstone and light grey limestone.12 genera and 13 species (including 7 new species) are here listed below: Nodosaria delicata sp.nov. ,Lingulina strigata sp.nov., Frondicularia inflata (K.M.-Maclay),Colaniellanana K.M.-Maclay,Colaniella cylindrica K M.-Maclay,Geinitzina tcherdynzevi K.M.-Maclay,Padangia cf.perforata Lange, Pachyphloia pigmobesa sp.nov., Hemigordius plautus sp.nov., Agathammina ovata sp.nov., Multidiscus semiconcavus sp.nov.,Neodiscus qinglongensis sp.nov. and Robuloides acutus Reichel. So far as the faunal featuresis concerned, the genera Colaniella and Robuloides are known to be widely distributedin the Tethyan region. The genus Colaniella may be regarded as one of zonefossils for the Changhsing limestone in Sichuan,Shanxi,Jiangxi and Hunan of China.Frondicularia inflata(K.M.-Maclay),Colaniella nana K.M.-Maclay,Colaniella cylind-rica K.M.-Maclay and Geinitzina tcherdynzevi K.M.-Maclay,etc.have been knowncommonly from the Upper Permian of N.Csucasus,U.S.S.R..Robuloides acutus Rei-chel has been reported from the foraminiferal limestone of Greece.Accordingly, theforaminiferal fauna from the Changhsing formation in Western Guizhou, accepted asbelonging to late Upper Permian in age,may be correlated with that from the Nikitinformation in N.Caucasus.
