[summary] Von den insgesamt 87 gefundenen Polychaeten-Arten waren 35 bereits bekannt. [Of the total of 87 polychaete species found, 35 were already known. 2 genera, 43 species and 5 subspecies have been newly described. 4 types could not be determined. 12 of the known species are new to Chile. One species, Typosyllis pectinans, had previously only been found in Australia. Microphthalmus ancistrosyliiformis n. Sp. indicates the relationship with the Pilargiids by the presence of notopodial hooks. Paratyposyllis paurocirrata n. G, n. Sp. shows, in adaptation to life in groundwater, reductions in body appendages that are otherwise only known from the subfamilies Eusyllinae and Exogoninae. In the loss of eyes in Typosyllis anoculata n. Sp. and in a reduction that has not yet taken place in Typosyllis subterranea n. sp. is a time difference between the two types in the immigration into the coastal groundwater. The Nereids of Chile have already been treated in detail (1962 a).]
