Taxonomy The type-species of Stenurus was originally listed as Stenurus inflexus (based on Strongylus inflexus of Rudolphi (see Dujardin, 1845), but this is now considered the type-species of Pseudalius, presumably because is original type-species, Pseudalius filum (see Dujardin, 1845),is now considered its junior synonym. Dujardin's concept of Stenurus inflexus is now considered to be a junior synonym of Stenurus minor. [details]
