Synonymy Asterias equestris Retzius (1820)-in fact (1805) is invalid and preoccupied. Thus Stellaster childreni Gray 1840 should be revived in its place. A. equestris should be formally suppressed in order to validate H. phrygiana. See pg. 285 in A.M. Clark 1993.  [details]
